About Molly
I graduated from the Ralston School of Massage and started my business as a licensed massage therapist in Reno/Sparks, NV, in April, 2004. I worked as an independent contractor at the Ralston Massage Center in Reno, NV from June, 2004-2009, when I opened Body In Knead.
I also provide chair massage at businesses and select community events, as well as limited out call services.
Taking an integrative approach to massage therapy, I combine a variety of massage modalities to provide the most complete and effective massage tailored to each client, including:
- swedish/relaxation
- deep tissue
- trigger point therapy
- pregnancy massage
- ortho-bionomy
- chair massage
- therapeutic massage
I have always been passionate in my endless pursuit of continuing education. I have found there are far too many new things to learn and enjoy the chase!
In early 2008, frustrated with the lack of continuing education classes necessary to maintain my license that were both convenient to my schedule and my budget, and could be directly applied to my massage business, I created KneadKnowledge, a continuing education company for massage therapists. With the gracious assistance of the Ralston School of Massage, we offered 1 class every month, 2 hours long with class topics which range from business classes, to hands on practice in different massage modalities.
It was exciting to watch KneadKnowledge grow every month and meet new massage therapists, as well as network and learn from fabulous guest speakers.
2009 brought even more opportunities as I started my own office with Body In Knead. I now have the opportunity of providing additional services to my clients, including It Works body wraps.
My outcall services have also expanded from individual chair and table massage, to include group services, as Body In Knead is now listed on the Nevada Film Office website.
In an effort continue expanding Body In Knead, in January 2011 I opened a second office, located in Sparks, NV, contracting new massage therapists to better serve the massage needs of our local clients. Located inside Balanced Health Solutions, massage services are now available with me, in Reno, or in Sparks with additional licensed massage therapists. (www.bodyinkneadBHS.com)
